We're Launching a Podcast! #Creatortown

Hey Canadian Creator Community,

I hope you'll help us spread the word about our latest project because like everything we do, it was created just for you.

Yes, you.

You, the person reading this.

No, really.

Don't scroll yet, I promise there's no Patreon request coming.

At the IWCC - CIWC we go by the old meme "If you want to achieve greatness, stop asking for permission". When it was clear to us that digital creators would be stronger working together, we created meetups. When we needed a festival to promote and showcase our work, we created T.O. WebFest. When funding didn't exist, we produced reports on the industry and got loud in the press and to our government.

Each year, new voices join our group and each year we all face new challenges. In 2017, the most popular question we get is still "How do people find out about our project"?
And the most common comment is "I'd love to know about other Canadian creators but it's hard to find them".

With those questions in mind, we asked our friends at Girth Radio if we could join their podcast network to bring you a weekly celebration of Canadian creators. Each Thursday, we'll shoutout new projects, interview creators and bring together YouTubers, podcasters and digital creators to celerbate and educate what we all love. We believe this community is getting bigger, better and is ready to make some noise in this country. So, let other media talk about what Canada "should be" doing. We'll be here every Thursday celebrating what we ARE doing and I hope you will all come along for the ride.

Here's to You! Yes, you.
